Welcome to Wagga Wagga Road Runners

WWRR on Facebook

New runners are very welcome at any event at any time - just turn up and someone will look after you!

The club's main weekly runs are the Saturday runs. These take place everyday Saturday throughout the year, starting at 1pm in the cooler months and 7.30am in the warmer months. The location varies from month to month, making the most of the various excellent places to run around town.

There is also the Pommy run every Wednesday evening, at Pomingalarna Reserve on the west side of town. The Pommy run is a training run that caters to people of all abilities.

Trail marathon weekend
The club's main annual event is the trail marathon weekend in August, including a trail marathon (with relay), trail half marathon, mtb marathon, 10km run, 5km run/walk, 1.5km kids run, and a king of the mountain run. In 2015 this will be held on the weekend 15-16 August.

There is also the Hume and Hovell 50/100 Ultra. Runners get to participate in a 50km or 100km ultra marathon along part of the Hume and Hovell walking track. The runs take place in October.

And there is a very popular bus trip to Sydney every August, to run in the City2Surf. Information about the trip will be given out at the Saturday runs in the preceding weeks.
